Path Soong, contemporary zen painter and painter of time, never met Andy, paints differently than Andy, and was compelled to go to the Warhol Museum when it first opened, because like Andy, painting is ALL that matters to Path.

Billy Name, lighting designer for Merce Cunningham and Martha Graham and others before Andy met him and then asked Billy to design the raw, large Factory space and Billy did - in the now famous all-silver look. And Billy is also a concrete poet / photographer. And did manage The Factory for years and years.

Patti Smith, is a poet, performer, artist and photographer. When she was starting out in NYC with Robert Mapplethorpe, they both met Warhol. Patti recorded the first punk single and her album 'Horses' is monumental in influence. She loves her original Polaroid cameras and is always traveling around the world. Her book 'Just Kids' is a revealing look into her time with Mapplethorpe and her devotion to music.

Nat Finkelstein, photographer with Andy in the 60's and 70's, took many of the iconic shots of the entourage and visitors to The Factory, and who, in the grip of the Nixon regime, was forced to leave the USA with the FBI in pursuit and spent 10 years in Marrakesh and other places, and came home in 1985 when all charges were dropped and continued to do photography.
